Sacrificial Offerings
There is no faster way into the heart of a vengeful god than offering up a good sacrifice. A long time ago humanity understood the value of sacrifice: to appease angry gods in difficult times, make an event unforgettable, or as an offering of atonement for personal misdeeds. In this day and age, how are we supposed to demonstrate our servitude to greater powers when laws prohibit both human and animal sacrifice?
The good news is that in this 21st century there is no longer any need to use perfectly good first born children or goats. The digital realm has provided us with avatars, which can be created for this very purpose, ready and willing to go back to the null space from where they came.
Tiny Trolls
Tiny Trolls have a lot of variability, making it unlikely to find the perfect combination you’re looking for. Fortunately, you can switch traits around, so long as you sacrifice one of the trolls. Given everything must be done manually, all trait switching is coordinated from the discord group. To make a sacrifice, you’ll need to pay a Troll Toll of 5 algos per troll to be destroyed.
Other Reasons to consider sacrificing a Tiny Troll
- To mark the commencement and/or end of festivities
- To curry favor for a desired outcome (i.e. getting a job, approaching a romantic interest, winning a competition, etc.)
- As a cleansing ritual aimed at society or at individuals, or both
- To highlight an achievement so that it can be remembered forever
- To curry favor with the RNG gods (results may vary)
How to switch traits
If you have two Trolls and want to switch traits between them, the first step is to go to the discord group ‘Tiny Troll Temple of Sacrifice’. Once instructions have been given, you’ll need to send both Trolls involved back to the creator address, along with the Troll Toll of 5 algos. You will choose one troll to live, and one troll to sacrifice. Although both assets need to be destroyed, the Troll you choose to live will be reborn with the same number and the desired traits. Expect rarity scores to change over time.

Reasons to be wary
This project is unprofessional, why else would it be made with a free wordpress site? Other issues are:
- No roadmap, no whitepaper
- I will begin work on a new project in the future
- This is a one-person show
- NFTs have no inherent value and should not be considered an investment
- As the artist, I reserve the right to discontinue sacrificing and updating Tiny Troll socials at any time, for any reason

What this is, and what it isn’t
Tiny Trolls is meant to be a stepping stone project, something to get me started on an entirely new type of NFT project. This is not to say they will be neglected, but they will share my attention with this future project, as well as writing and making videos to help newcomers get involved in the scene, which I’ve already started (YouTube, Medium, Twitter). I’ve been involved in the algo NFT scene since early May, and I hope to be able to remain involved in the scene for a lot longer.
The goal of the project is to have some fun while enjoying NFTs. If some people think NFTs are worthless, wait until we tell them they sometimes get destroyed for fun!
The main reason traits can be swapped are to
- be able to craft your favorite troll
- to add value to pieces on the secondary market.
